Changing that can take more risk, more courage, more energy or more opportunity than a lot of your friends may have. But when you recognize in yourself something that can be and needs to be changed in order to be happier, I think it's a crying shame not to!Julie Thttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15032020914720496506noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3634335900902885293.post-64212761803955732612010-10-08T08:03:24.594-07:002010-10-08T08:03:24.594-07:00Well said, Heather.

The grass is greenest where it is watered. When crossing over fences, carry water with you and tend the grass wherever you may be." (Robert Fulghum)

"Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life." (Confucius)

"The key is to figure out what you want out of life, not what you want out of your career." No matter what job you have,...I can see both sides. No matter what job you have, there is always the mundane drone-type work with some aspect of it. But there is no need to let your life slip away from you while you do something you despise. Take a risk. Search out something you love.

Being a mom is ten thousand times better than being a legal assistant. But guess what? There's lots of poop, whiny kids, housebound for naps, very infrequent dates, you can consider yourself trapped in different ways.

No matter where we are or what we are doing, we have potential to change those around us or improve ourselves. Some situations require more creativity than others.Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10024985524026623873noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3634335900902885293.post-40345476424077312672010-10-07T15:10:17.581-07:002010-10-07T15:10:17.581-07:00Totally know that feeling- the longest I ever work...Totally know that feeling- the longest I ever worked was 3 months over the summer and even though I liked my job it was still hard being cooped up! You'll have to take advantage of your lunch breaks:)AmyHhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11521589771569598101noreply@blogger.com
