Quality of Life

My quality of life has really sky-rocketed since marrying Scott. Disregarding the beginning when I took cold showers and never knew where we would sleep each night or what we’d eat each day… J, my life has really improved!

- Scott motivates me to go to the gym every morning with him. Consistently working out definitely improves quality of life!
- I’m not as stressed out as I used to be. Since Scott and I get to hang out every day, I am not manically organizing my schedule and planning things to do all the time. We do fun things together, or if nothing is planned, we hang out at home! It’s really great.

- Scott has convinced me that the little things I love in life are worth it! For example, we now buy Crest Vanilla Mint toothpaste all the time. It’s about $.50 to $1 more, which makes my inner self just reach for the cheapest brand instead. But since we both love it so much, and use it at least 2x per day, Scott has taught me that it really is worth the extra $1. Quality of life, quality of life!

- Our bed is made every day and the closet is almost always organized. Let’s just say this is not a habit that I brought into our marriage.

- I’ve never lived in such a nice place. We have glass vases all around and nice, new moldings and paint. Instead of moldy moldings and chipped, uneven paint like I had during college… Also, Scott has helped me “Simplify my life,” otherwise interpreted as: Throw away all of Stefanie’s favorite possessions. I’m usually a bit bitter when we actually do it, but it’s always nice later when there is more space for the things we actually do use! I’d recommend it!

Nice post! I don't remember seeing that second picture before- I like it! If I see Crest Vanilla Mint on sale for you, I'll stock up! Yessiree- for someone's who's favorite song is "My Shiny Teeth and Me" and extra dollar for toothpaste is worth it! :D

You know, its the San Felipe Curse.... No one can withstand it. We all knew from the moment Scott told us he was taking you down there.
