The Plan.

Have you been wondering how long we are staying in Costa Rica?
Where we're headed next?
What the heck our plans are?

Well you're in luck,
I have answers!

We've solidified our plans over the last few days and we are really excited about life and the opportunities in our future!  These plans begin with a long weekend in New York City!  I have never been there before and am thrilled to see and taste some of what this mecca has to offer.

April 16- Costa Rica to NYC
April 20- NYC to LAX
May 4- The world stops as we celebrate the bug's first birthday!
Then,
Scott and I fly LAX- Cuzco
(T stays with Grandma in Corona)
This will be a 10 day Scott and Stef only trip to Peru!

May 20th-ish- We begin a road trip up the coast to Samammish, WA
We'll spend a few days with my parents before they jetset to Ireland for the month of June, leaving the house to us.

So there you have it.  Always lots going on.  It's a wonder that I am actually relaxing here with all the logistics and planning to be done!

We have learned a TON since being here in Costa Rica.  About ourselves, our child, happiness, travel, life abroad... the list could go on and on.  We planned to be down here in Central/South America for 3-6 months and we are right on the 3 month end of that.  Initially we had wanted to go straight from Costa Rica to Peru, but if you can believe it, the flights are cheaper to return to the US and then buy a R/T ticket from there.  And since we were doing that, we had the option to stay in Peru for a month as a family, or go for 10 days as a couple.  We've had a fantastic experience here with no regrets, but considering the circumstances and opportunities available to us, we feel that this plan is the best for our family.

Here's to a New York trip and a month at Lake Samammish with fast internet, a fully functioning kitchen and bathroom, and we've even been promised chocolates on our pillows :)

I love NYC! You guys are great at planning and that will help a lot. It really helped us to know what sites are close to each other so we could see as much as possible.
You are brave leaving T for 10 days! I can't leave my kids for more than half a day before I miss them way too much!
