After 2 fantastic nights in Napa Valley at BeeGee's place, we pushed onward to The Redwoods.
We had a fun time, and it was a nice way to break up the drive, but it wasn't our #1, don't-miss-it, perfect national park experience. Maybe because we had just been to Muir Woods (out of San Fran) in November, our big tree quota was fulfilled...
I love my Tamron 18-270mm f3.5 lens. It fits all my needs without switching lenses for every situation. While it's not my fav newborn portrait lens, it's perfect for travelling, and everyday family life. Perfect.

I didn't realize before going that the Redwood forest is right up against the ocean! We had a chilly picnic, and a fire too!
